On this episode of Fighting B.A.C.K., Sandra Grazzini-Rucki interviews psychologist Dr. Jim Singer, a hero to children, who lost his license in Pennsylvania after making a mandatory report about the physical and sexual abuse of a teen who came to him for help. The victim involved later wrote a letter to Dr. Singer, claiming his intervention saved her life.
Though the abuse was confirmed by two other medical professionals, Dr. Singer faced retaliation for making the report – by the family involved, by CPS and by the state. While Dr. Singer fought to get help for this victim, and clear his name, he encountered corruption at all levels of the Pennsylvania state government as well as possibly the national level.
Dr. Singer became a psychologist, he says “to make the world a better place and help people, especially families…”. In fighting for justice in his own case, Dr. Singer is also raising awareness about child abuse and exposing how the system fails to protect children from abuse and instead, protects perpetrators. This is a shocking and informative interview that you will not want to miss!

Sandra and guest, Tim Kinley discuss the family court system 360 degrees – from all angles! Topics include family court from a personal perspective, and from a political perspective. Discussion will include Tim’s experience in the family court system, as well as general topics concerning family law. He will also share his knowledge on the Grazzini-Rucki case.
Tim is a father who has been involved in family court litigation, and was the subject of an outrageous court ruling from Judge Gary Bastian that prohibited Kinley from teaching his children the Bible or other religious ideas because it “posed a safety risk“. The court ruling violated Tim’s Constitutional rights, and was not supported by findings or case law. After an agonizing 5 year battle, the Appeals Court overturned Judge Bastien’s order. By then, the damage had been done to his relationship with his children. Kinley was once a loving, involved father had now become estranged from his children, due circumstances out of his control and influenced by the failings of the Court.
Tim had survived being unjustly jailed, financially devastated, and his life turned upside down by the court… and became motivated to improve the family court system by offering education and awareness about court issues to the public, and to legislators. Tim also works for family law reform efforts, with an interest in judicial accountability.
Tim has also extensively researched and covered the #grazzinirucki case on several episodes of “Speechless” and previously conducted interviews with Sandra and her family law attorney, Michelle MacDonald.Tim shares insights on the Grazzini-Rucki case, and what he has observed when court watching.

Sandra Grazzini Rucki is the victim of two predators in possession – both judges. Occurring in the Grazzini-Rucki case is an abuse of judicial discretion and over-reaching of the court in by two specific judges, Judge Knutson and Judge Asphaug, in “a way that can only be described as depraved and indifferent”.

Knutson and Karen Asphaug have stripped Grazzini-Rucki of all rights to access to legal representation, her children, property, the right to work, to speak, to socialize with family and friends acting on judicial discretion in violation of all due process, procedural and legal protections assigned as rights to citizens of the United States.
